About Avanza Dream

Avanza Dream is a program of Avanza Arkansas dedicated to bringing hope, dignity, and joy to children facing life-threatening medical conditions. Each year, Avanza Dream may fulfill one to four dreams, depending on available funding and the scope of each dream experience.

We prioritize children from ALICE families (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). However, Avanza Dream is open to all eligible children regardless of race, ethnicity, background, or nationality. Every child deserves compassion and meaningful moments of joy.

Who Is Eligible?

Children must meet these criteria at the time of referral:

  • Diagnosed with a critical illness, defined as a progressive, degenerative, or malignant condition that is placing the child’s life in jeopardy
  • Older than 2½ years and younger than 18 years old
  • Reside within Arkansas

 

Notice (callout): Submitting this referral does not guarantee approval. All applications are reviewed confidentially by the Avanza Dream Review Committee.

A referral is considered a request to begin reviewing a child’s medical record to determine whether the child is eligible for Avanza Dream.

This form is designed to allow the referrer to include all relevant medical information, not only conditions that may qualify. The inclusion of a diagnosis does not automatically determine eligibility.

You will be contacted by Avanza Arkansas once eligibility has been reviewed and determined.

Important Note

If the child is selected for Avanza Dream, the family will be asked to collaborate with Avanza Arkansas in helping coordinate logistics and may be requested to participate in photos, video documentation, storytelling, and testimonial sharing to support awareness and future fundraising efforts.
